| A big mountain lion in a Winter West Virginia forest scene. Pine trees are heavy with snow while the green mountain laurel peeks out from under the fresh blanket snow. This cougar is well fed and is motionless staring in my direction. I certainly would not want to be this cats next meal. It probably outweighs me by 50 lbs.

Hi,
I stumbled across this photo of yours, of a mountain lion in West Virginia:
http://www.forestwander.com/2011/01/mountain-lion-winter-forest-snow/
Was this photo definitely shot in WV, and if so, where? In the wild, or in captivity? The reason I ask is because, as I’m sure you know, the WV mountain lion is akin to Bigfoot. There have been countless sightings, but our DNR has no record of one ever having been officially photographed, shot, or hit by a vehicle.
Thanks,
Bryan
