I just wanted to thank you profusely for offering such a wealth of beautiful and usable images freely to all! The lengths to which you must have gone not only to capture these photos, but to assemble them all here in a clearly organized fashion with the full technical details on each, must have been tremendous. And they are not even marred by any promotional writing or logos! You have performed a real service to humanity here.
I have an older monitor, and it’s getting harder and harder to find images that fill the screen completely and are even moderately sharp. The cherry image I just chose to deck out my computer this spring not only does the former, it is sharper than any image I’ve tried since I started having problems a couple years ago. And nature is one of my most-often-chosen wallpaper themes! I can’t wait to further explore your photo collection here.
On a practical note, I just thought I would suggest that in addition to explaining how to set an image as wallpaper by downloading it, you also describe the option of opening the photo, then right-clicking to choose “Save as Desktop Background.” The second method is simpler and saves a little disk space for anyone not feeling a need to create their own personal wallpaper library. Also, for those who choose to download an image, it might be helpful to explain how to set it as wallpaper once saved, just to make the whole process completely “dummy-proof.”
Thank you again for this wonderful resource!
