These black bears are enduring the winter snow storm by keeping each other warm. I have never saw bears keeping each other warm like this in the winter snow. Amazing that these sleepy animals can endure such cold. I am nearly froze as the temperature is around 15 degrees. yet they seem content until they hear or smell me rustling around.

One of the most elusive creatures in the forest the mountain cougar or mountain lion as sometimes called, is one of the most beautiful animals in the American forests. Here we see an awesome female mountain lion in the winter time as the snow falls around her. Often called a panther in the southern states this predator can reach weights of 200 pounds or more.
